The Committee on Preparation for Ministry (CPM) provides for the care and oversight of persons exploring and preparing for the ordained Ministry of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA). We are pleased that you have found this site, and hope that it will be helpful to you as you explore your sense of call.
We are committed to exercising prayerful care for both those who are preparing for ministry and for the church as a whole. This is a rigorous and demanding process for inquirers and candidates, as well as for the members of the CPM. It is at the same time a deeply gratifying and important work. We pray that as you consider the possibilities of ordination, or work with those who do, you may experience the grace of God, the presence of Christ, and the discernment of the Holy Spirit.
